Description

The modern MicroBlue Monocular is an entry-level microscope and represents great value for money. This model comes with an integrated mechanical stage & with an Abbe condenser. It is equipped with 35 mm achromatic objectives (x4, x 10, & 40) & with adjustable 1W LED illumination as well as rechargeable batteries to enable cordless operation.

This microscope can be used for most laboratory procedures which do not require magnifications of greater than 600X e.g. worm egg identification, hair/skin scrapes, urine sediments, manual cell counts. Even stained blood smears for differential WBC counts can be performed using an additional 60X (dry)objective (available to purchase separately) It is also possible to remove the monocular head and replace with a binocular head or LCD screen (available to purchase separately) at any time giving a higher resolution or confirmation of detail.
