Sample: Whole Blood, Plasma or SerumFASTest Anaplasma an immunochromatographic “lateral flow” test using a recombinant, highly specific peptide for the fast and reliable detection of antibodies against Anaplasma phagocytophilum and Anaplasma platys in whole blood, plasma or serum of infected dogs and horses.
Anaplasmosis is a bacterial tick-borne infectious disease. The agent, Anaplasma phagocyptophilum, mainly occurs in the northern hemisphere and causes granulocytotropic anaplasmosis. The disease occurs mostly in dogs or horses but other mammals and humans can also be infected.
